We are looking
for a sales achiever from the promotional, media sales
or advertising industries. If you are a creative
problem solver, have a dynamic personality, are able to quickly
close sales and can build relationships, we want to meet
you. Our customer is a leading provider of custom marketing
promotional solutions. They work directly with their clients
to develop branding strategies using airships, balloons and
inflatables that enhance their marketing objectives. Their
new sales executive will be free to work from home and will
be under contract to mine opportunities within other agencies’ client
bases, approach new accounts, use contacts to arrange meetings,
create new campaigns or combine our services within current
campaign plans. Additionally, senior-level contacts in industry
are a plus and must have the ability to open doors into major
accounts. Our customer needs a savvy sales closer who can
immediately call on senior marketing executives at the agency
and their clients.
Description: National Account Executive responsible for
selling media and promotions to national advertisers. This
will include senior level negotiations, business development,
working with client advertising. The candidate will have
significant experience collaborating with C- and VP Level
Executive Teams on outdoor advertising strategic marketing
initiatives.
Experience: Minimum
3-5 years selling national advertising and/or promotions
to top advertising agencies and clients.
Strong communication, presentation, and selling skills required.
Demonstrated ability to create customized programs based
on client objectives. Other traits include creativity, organization,
and initiative. The ideal candidate will be high energy,
a strategic thinker and will have a proven track record
in executing sales and
developing new business accounts. Candidates must have excellent
communication, organizational and PC Skills. Some travel
may be required to close and oversee operational aspects.
Compensation: 100% Commission with no limit on up side.
Expenses are paid by the company.
Responsibilities include:
• Manage
internal channel marketing
• Maintain regular communication and coordinate with client
on all joint marketing activities
• Plan and manage activities for all targeted tradeshows
• Work in generating leads through multiple programs (events,
direct mail campaigns, cold calls, e-mail, etc.)
• Assist in designing of all marketing collateral
• Analyze marketing effectiveness of programs and communicate
to executives
• Execute launch and roll out of new products and services
• Research, analyze and monitor market and competitor trends
• Explore new opportunities to develop and test new marketing
programs in select markets
• Implement and monitor measurement systems to evaluate program
cost effectiveness
Qualifications:
• 3+ advertising/marketing preferred
• 3+ years experience in ad agency management
• 3+ years experience in corporate communications
• Must have experience working with executive level teams
• Familiarity with traditional media marketing as well as trade
shows and industry specific channels
• Must be well-known and experienced in outdoor ad industry
• Strong seller of new technology/services in advertising marketplace
