- Saundra McDavid announced today that she is running for the office of Mayor of the city of Eagle, Idaho.
McDavid is an attorney and works as a University professor in the subjects of law, business strategy and information technology. She has an MBA and a JD from St. Louis University. She volunteers as an attorney with the Idaho Volunteer Lawyers Program and was previously a board member and public relations committee chair for the Boise chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners. Appearing before both the Eagle City Council and the Eagle Planning and Zoning Commission, Saundra has spoken against the high density developments in North Eagle.
Saundra and her husband, Andrew Petrehn own the popular Eagle Rib Shack restaurant in downtown Eagle.
